How does time go by so quickly?
Well its already 2011. Obviously for my last post roughly forever ago, working a 40+ hour a week job and trying to run a little craft business (also trying to just plain old run...) takes some mega time planning. Even though this blog has been lacking some love, TBF is actually doing ok. Im slowly but surely starting to get more recognition from other pieces Ive sold.
A little goal I set for myself a long time ago was to finally sell a piece to someone I didnt know at all beyond them wanting something handmade.
If finally happened a few weeks ago at work. I make a point to wear my jewelry as often as possible. One day at work a lady about died over it and said she would be back Friday, money in hand, to pick up her gray necklace. It was such a great feeling to know that someone actually liked my work and wasnt just pretending because they like me as a friend. :)
A new year always comes with those pesky resolutions, well this year mine is 100% focused on The Bluebell Fox. Tonight I started my wishlist of things to learn, master, and sell over the next 12 months. Stick with me because with the wedding coming up in October, this year is sure to be a ride!
